Heather has been the Executive Director with Companions for Children since July, 2013. She was born and raised in Minot, ND. She attended Minot State University, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Management Information Systems. She then attended University of Mary, receiving her MBA with an Executive and Healthcare focus. Heather has chose to work with Companions for Children because she has a passion for giving back to her community. She loves seeing how children in the program are becoming more confident and growing into young adults with the help of their mentors. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler and kitty Dexter, in addition to camping, fishing, exercise classes and reading!
Nicole moved to Minot, ND from Bristol, CT. She attended the University of Saint Joseph where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Nicole is passionate about keeping our children healthy and our communities strong. Nicole is honored to be part of the Companions for Children team where she can help children in the community thrive. She loves seeing the difference our mentors make in the lives of Minot’s children. In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband Jack and dogs, Berkley and Willow. She also enjoys yoga, spending time outdoors, being with family, and reading.
Taylor moved to Minot, Nd from Mabelvale, Arkansas. She is attending Minot University where she is working toward earning her Bachelor’s in Business Management and plans to get her MBA after. Taylor is passionate about giving back to her community and working at Companions for Children has given her a chance to do so. She loves seeing how our mentor’s guide and nurture the children in the community into who they meant to be. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Zach and their one dog and two cats, Tail, Tatsu, and Udi. She also spends her free time reading, camping with friends, and trying out new cooking recipes.
Juli moved to Minot from Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri in 2017. Juli is currently working on her Bachelor of Social Work degree at Minot State University. Juli is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Juli is grateful to work with Companions for Children to help children in her community succeed. Juli is a devoted mother and enjoys sending time with her daughter and husband. Juli enjoys listening to podcast, outdoors, and watching Netflix in her free time.
